Cookie Policy

Which local storage technologies we use and how to control them.

Version 1.0Effective from July 29, 2026

This Policy describes the cookies and equivalent technologies — local storage, session storage, and device identifiers — used by SquadIA on https://squadia.online and inside the application. It complements the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files written to your browser when you visit a site. They remember preferences, keep authenticated sessions alive, protect against abuse, and measure page performance.

We also use equivalent technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which keep information in the browser without automatically sending it to the server.

2. Essential cookies

Required for the service to work. Without them you cannot sign in, keep a session, or submit forms safely. They cannot be disabled in the platform.

3. Functional cookies

They remember choices that make the product comfortable to use: light or dark theme, collapsed sections, the last workspace opened, and whether tours and onboarding were completed.

Disabling them does not block usage, but the interface will forget your preferences on every visit.

4. Performance cookies

They collect aggregate information about load times, runtime errors, and screen stability, helping us find bottlenecks and failures before they affect more users.

This information is handled in aggregate form and is not used to identify individuals.

5. Analytics cookies

They measure how the platform is used: most visited screens, abandoned flows, and adoption of new features, so product decisions rest on real usage.

Analytics run in aggregate mode, with no data sale and no cross-matching with third-party advertising databases.

6. Marketing cookies

We currently do not use marketing or behavioural advertising cookies in the authenticated platform.

If we later use them on public pages to measure campaigns, this Policy will be updated beforehand and their use will depend on your consent, revocable at any time.

7. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by suppliers operating parts of the service: the authentication provider, the content delivery network, the payment processor during checkout, and the identity provider when you sign in with a corporate account.

Those suppliers process data under their own policies and our data protection agreements.

8. How to disable

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies prevents sign-in and use of the platform.

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari (macOS and iOS): Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

You can also use private browsing, which discards cookies at the end of the session, or clear the site's local storage with your browser tools.

9. Updates and contact

This Policy may be revised whenever the technologies we use change. Questions can be sent to privacidade@squadia.online.
